Method

Combine the all-purpose flour and salt in a bowl. Add the warm water and knead until you have a smooth, firm dough. Cover and let it rest.

Mix the ground lamb, onion, salt, and black pepper until evenly combined.

Roll the dough thin and cut it into squares. Place some filling in the center of each square.

Bring the corners together and pinch the dough firmly to seal each dumpling.

Arrange the dumplings in a lightly greased steamer tray, leaving space between them.
