    Squeeze excess moisture from the grated potato, then combine it with the onion, garlic, eggs, all-purpose flour, dried marjoram, salt, and black pepper to make a thick batter.

    Heat the sunflower oil in a frying pan to about 175°C (350°F).

    Spoon in the batter, flatten it into thin pancakes, and fry until deeply golden on both sides.
