- 120gWhite Rice (rinsed)
- 120gOnion (finely chopped)

Method

Rinse the sour cabbage leaves briefly if they taste too salty, then pat them dry.

Heat the sunflower oil in a pan and cook the onion and carrot until softened.

Add the white rice, ground pork, paprika, and black pepper and cook just until the meat loses its raw color.

Place some filling on each sour cabbage leaf, fold in the sides, and roll tightly.

Mix the water with the tomato paste and place the bay leaves in the cooking pot.

Arrange the rolls snugly in the pot, pour over the sauce, and bring to a gentle simmer.

Cover and cook slowly until the cabbage is tender, the rice is fully cooked, and the filling reaches 71°C (160°F).
