Method

Soak the harees wheat in the water for 30 minutes, then drain well.

Place the drained harees wheat, chicken breast, and water in a heavy pot. Bring to a boil, skim any foam, add the salt and black pepper, then cover and cook gently until the wheat is breaking down and the chicken breast reaches 74°C (165°F).

Remove the chicken breast, shred it finely, and return it to the pot.

Beat and stir the mixture until it forms a smooth, thick porridge.

Stir the ghee into the porridge and cook briefly until glossy.

Finish with the ghee and cinnamon powder, then serve hot.
