Method

Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).

Toss the kataifi pastry thoroughly with the melted unsalted butter.

Press half of the pastry into a baking dish. Spread the nabulsi cheese evenly over the pastry, then cover with the remaining pastry and press lightly.

Bake until the top is deeply golden and crisp.

Simmer the white sugar and water until the sugar has dissolved and the syrup thickens slightly. Remove from the heat and stir in the orange blossom water.
