- 400gSamp (soaked overnight and drained)
- 250gSugar Bean (soaked overnight and drained)
- 150gPeanuts (raw)
- 2.4lWater
- 8gSalt

Method

Place the soaked samp, sugar beans, peanuts, and water in a large heavy pot.

Bring to a full boil and boil for 10 minutes.

Reduce the heat, partially cover, and simmer gently until the samp, sugar beans, and peanuts are completely tender, stirring occasionally.

Add hot water during cooking if the mixture threatens to dry out before the grains and beans are tender.

Stir in the salt and cook uncovered until the mutakura is moist but no longer soupy.

Serve warm as a meal or substantial snack.
