- 15gFresh Mint (finely chopped)
- 10gGarlic (finely chopped)
- 60mlExtra Virgin Olive Oil
- 300mlWater
- 8gSalt
- 2gBlack Pepper (freshly ground)
- 1pcsLemon (cut in half)

Method

Trim the artichokes and spread the leaves slightly so the seasoning can reach the center.

Mix the fresh mint, garlic, salt, and black pepper, then tuck this mixture into the center and between the leaves of each artichoke.

Arrange the artichokes snugly in a pot, stem side down, and pour in the extra virgin olive oil and water.

Cover and braise gently until the leaves pull away easily and the hearts are tender.
