Method

Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F). Season the chicken breast with the salt and black pepper.

Dredge the chicken in the all-purpose flour, dip it in the beaten eggs, and coat it evenly with the breadcrumbs.

Heat the vegetable oil in a wide skillet over medium heat and fry the breaded chicken until golden on both sides and 74°C (165°F) at the thickest part. Transfer the cutlets to a baking tray.

Spoon the tomato sauce over each cutlet, then add the ham and cover with the mozzarella cheese.

Sprinkle the dried oregano over the cheese and bake until the topping is hot and the cheese is fully melted and bubbling.
