    Water
  • 450g
    Sour Cabbage (drained)
  • 450g
    Potato (peeled and diced)
  • 160g
    Carrot (julienned)
  • 150g
    Onion (finely chopped)

    Place the pork shoulder and water in a large pot and bring to a gentle simmer. Skim away any foam.

    Add the bay leaves and allspice, then simmer until the pork shoulder is tender.

    Remove the pork, let it cool slightly, then cut or shred it into bite-size pieces and return it to the pot.
