Beans

    Red Bean (dried, soaked overnight, and drained)
  • 180g
    Onion (finely chopped)
  • 300g
    Tomato (finely chopped)
  • 12g
    Garlic (crushed)
  • 35ml
    Vegetable Oil
  • 5g
    Curry Powder
  • 12g
    Salt
  • 1.2l
    Water

    Heat the vegetable oil in a pot over medium heat.

    Add the onion and cook until soft. Stir in the garlic and cook briefly until fragrant.

    Add the tomato and cook until thick and saucy.

    Stir in the curry powder and the salt.

    Add the red beans and water, bring to a rolling boil for 10 minutes, then reduce the heat and simmer until the beans are tender and the sauce is thick.
