- 250mlWhole Milk (warmed)
- 100mlWater (warmed)
- 7gActive Dry Yeast
- 10gWhite Sugar
- 10gSalt
- 30gUnsalted Butter (melted)
- 20gSesame Seeds

Method

Warm the whole milk and water to about 38°C (100°F), stir in the active dry yeast and white sugar, and let the mixture stand until foamy.

Place the bread flour and salt in a bowl, add the yeast mixture, and knead until the dough becomes smooth and elastic.

Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size.

Shape the dough into a round loaf, press a shallow pattern into the center, brush the top with the unsalted butter, and scatter over the sesame seeds.

Bake at 240°C (465°F) until well browned and the loaf sounds hollow when tapped underneath.
