Method

Soak the glutinous rice in the water until the grains are well hydrated, then drain.

Steam the soaked glutinous rice over boiling water, about 100°C (212°F), until tender and sticky.

Combine the coconut milk, coconut cream, palm sugar, and salt in a saucepan and warm gently over low heat, about 90°C (194°F), until smooth.

Fold the warm rice sauce into the hot sticky rice until evenly absorbed and glossy. Let it rest briefly.

Combine the coconut milk, coconut cream, palm sugar, and salt in a small saucepan and warm gently until smooth.
