- 220gAll-Purpose Flour

Dough

- 250gBryndza Cheese (crumbled)
- 150gSour Cream

Method
Follow each step in order. Ingredient names are highlighted as you go.

Cook the bacon over medium heat until crisp. Set it aside and keep the rendered fat warm.

Mash the bryndza cheese with the sour cream until creamy.

Bring the water and salt to a boil.

Mix the potato, all-purpose flour, egg, and salt into a soft, sticky dough.

Press or cut small pieces of dough into the boiling water and cook until they float and are tender throughout.

Drain the dumplings well and immediately fold them through the bryndza cheese mixture with a spoonful of bacon fat.
