Method

Combine the ground beef, ground pork, onion, garlic, paprika, salt, and black pepper until tacky and well blended.

Shape into broad, thin patties and refrigerate for 20 minutes while the grill heats.

Oil the hot grill or griddle with the sunflower oil and cook the patties until browned and they reach 71°C (160°F).

Warm the somun bread until soft inside and lightly toasted outside.

Serve the pljeskavica with the somun, ajvar, red onion, and tomato.
