Combine the ground beef, ground pork, garlic, salt, black pepper, paprika, and baking soda in a bowl.

Mix thoroughly until the meat becomes sticky and well bound, then gradually work in the meat stock until the mixture feels smooth and elastic.

Cover and chill the mixture so it firms up and is easier to shape.

With damp hands, shape the mixture into short, even rolls.

Preheat a grill to high heat, about 230°C (450°F), and brush the grates lightly with the sunflower oil.
