    Soy Sauce

    Combine the ground pork, carrot, onion, garlic, soy sauce, egg, breadcrumbs, salt, and black pepper in a bowl and mix until evenly combined.

    Place a small line of filling near one edge of a lumpia wrapper. Roll tightly into a thin log and brush the edge with the water to seal. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.

    Heat the vegetable oil to 180°C (350°F) in a deep pan.

    Fry the rolls in batches until deeply golden and crisp and the ground pork filling reaches 71°C (160°F), turning as needed for even color.

    Drain the rolls well before serving.
