  • 650ml
    Coconut Milk
  • 650ml

    Heat the coconut oil in a pot over medium heat. Add the onion, garlic, and fresh ginger and cook until softened.

    Add the taro leaf and water, bring to a boil, then reduce to a steady simmer. Cook uncovered until the leaves are completely tender, at least 30 minutes; undercooked taro leaves can irritate the mouth and throat.

    Pour in the coconut milk and return the soup to a gentle simmer.

    Add the grouper, salt, and black pepper and simmer until the fish reaches 63°C (145°F) and flakes easily.

    Stir in the lime juice and serve hot.
