    Line a pie dish with part of the puff pastry, leaving enough to fit a top layer later.

    Scatter the bacon and onion evenly over the pastry base.

    Crack the eggs over the filling, spacing them so the yolks stay whole. Season with the salt and black pepper.

    Cover with the remaining puff pastry, seal the edges, and cut a small vent in the top.
