    Tomato (finely chopped)

    Garlic (crushed)

    Heat the vegetable oil in a pot over medium heat.

    Add the onion and cook until softened, then stir in the garlic.

    Add the curry powder, turmeric powder, and chili powder and cook briefly until fragrant.

    Stir in the tomato and tomato paste and cook until the tomatoes break down and the mixture thickens.

    Pour in the coconut milk and water, then simmer gently until the sauce is smooth and aromatic.
