- 500gGround Beef
- 60gShea Butter

Melt the shea butter in a heavy pot over medium heat. Add the onion and cook until soft.

Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it up, until browned and at least 71°C (160°F).

Stir in the garlic, tomato paste, tomato, chili powder, salt, and black pepper and cook until saucy.

Add the white rice, meat stock, and bay leaves and bring to a boil.

Cover, reduce the heat to low, and cook until the rice is tender and the liquid is absorbed.

Discard the bay leaves and rest, covered, for 10 minutes.
