Dough

    All-Purpose Flour
  • 7g
    Active Dry Yeast
  • 300ml
    Water (lukewarm)
  • 8g
    Salt

Topping

  • 50g
    Zaatar
  • 80ml
    Extra Virgin Olive Oil

    Stir the active dry yeast into the lukewarm water and let it stand for 5 to 10 minutes, until foamy.

    Add the all-purpose flour and salt, then knead until the dough is smooth and elastic.

    Cover the dough and leave it to rise for about 60 minutes, until doubled in size.

    Preheat the oven to 240°C (465°F) and place a baking tray inside to heat.

    Divide the dough into equal pieces and stretch each one into a flat round.

    Mix the za'atar with the extra virgin olive oil to form a loose paste.
