Dough

- 260mlWhole Milk (lukewarm)
- 90gUnsalted Butter (melted)

- 260gBacon (finely diced)
- 170gOnion (finely chopped)

Method

Stir the active dry yeast and white sugar into the lukewarm whole milk and leave for 5 to 10 minutes, until foamy.

Mix the all-purpose flour and salt in a bowl, then add the foamy yeast mixture, the egg, and the melted unsalted butter.

Knead until the dough is smooth and elastic, then cover and let it rise for about 60 minutes, until doubled in size.

Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until it starts to brown.

Add the onion and cook until soft and lightly golden, then season with black pepper and let the filling cool.

Divide the dough into portions, flatten each one, add some filling, and seal to form buns.
