    Stir the white sugar into the warmed whole milk, add the active dry yeast, and let it stand for 5 to 10 minutes, until foamy.

    Mix the all-purpose flour and salt in a large bowl. Add the yeast mixture, unsalted butter, and vegetable oil, then knead until smooth.

    Cover the dough and let it rise at about 30°C (86°F) for 60 to 75 minutes, until doubled in size.
