    Melt the ghee in a pot over medium heat. Add the onion and cook until soft and lightly golden.

    Stir in the garlic, baharat, turmeric powder, and black pepper and cook briefly until fragrant.

    Add the chicken thigh and turn it in the spiced onion mixture until lightly browned.

    Pour in the chicken stock, add the salt, and simmer gently for 30 to 35 minutes, until the chicken is very tender and reaches 74°C (165°F).

    Remove the chicken, shred it, and return it to the pot.

    Stir in the cracked wheat and cook over low heat for 45 to 55 minutes, stirring often, until the mixture becomes thick and creamy and the wheat is fully tender.

    Stir in the plain yogurt and cook very briefly so it warms through without splitting.
