    Salted Butter (softened)

    Mix the all-purpose flour and salt in a bowl. Add the water and knead until a soft, smooth dough forms.

    Cover the dough and let it rest until relaxed.

    Divide the dough, roll each piece thin, and spread it with the salted butter. Coil or fold each piece to create layers, then rest it briefly again.

    Roll each piece back out into a flat round.

    Heat a flat pan over medium heat and lightly brush it with the vegetable oil.
