    Onion (finely chopped)

    Garlic (minced)
  • 15ml
    Vegetable Oil

    Heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the onion and cook until softened, then stir in the garlic.

    Add the taro leaf and water. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.

    Pour in the coconut milk and add the salt.

    Simmer uncovered for another 20 to 25 minutes, until the taro leaves are completely tender and the sauce is creamy. Do not serve the leaves undercooked.
