- 320mlWater (warm)

Method

Mix the masa harina and salt in a bowl. Gradually work in the warm water until you have a soft, smooth dough that holds together without cracking.

Combine the queso fresco cheese and loroco flower in a small bowl.

Divide it into equal balls. Flatten each ball into a cup, add some filling, seal it well, and gently pat it into a thick disc.

Lightly grease a hot griddle with the vegetable oil and heat it to about 200°C (400°F).
