- 700gCassava Root (sweet cassava, peeled, cored and finely grated)
- 120gAll-Purpose Flour
- 2pcsEgg
- 6gBaking Powder
- 4gSalt
- 500mlVegetable Oil

- 220gPanela (chopped)
- 250mlWater
- 1pcsCinnamon Stick

Method

Boil the cassava root until tender, then drain and mash it until smooth. Let it cool slightly.

Mix the mashed cassava with the all-purpose flour, eggs, baking powder, and salt until you have a thick batter.

Heat the vegetable oil to 180°C (350°F), then fry spoonfuls of the batter until golden brown and cooked through. Drain them well.
