Method

Stir the active dry yeast into the lukewarm whole milk and leave it briefly until foamy.

In a bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, white sugar, and salt.

Add the eggs, brandy, orange zest, lemon peel, and raisins, then pour in the milk mixture and beat until a thick, smooth batter forms.

Cover the batter and let it rise until visibly airy and puffy.

Heat the sunflower oil to 175°C (347°F).

Drop small spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil and fry until the doughnuts are golden brown, turning them so they color evenly.
