Method
Follow each step in order. Ingredient names are highlighted as you go.

Put the pinto beans and water in a large pot. Bring to a vigorous boil for 10 minutes, then lower the heat and simmer until starting to soften.

Heat the vegetable oil in a saucepan and cook the onion, tomato, and garlic until softened. Stir in the cumin powder, then add this mixture and the salt to the beans. Simmer until tender.

Combine the white rice, water, and salt in a pot. Bring to a boil, cover, reduce the heat, and cook until tender.

Roast the pork belly at 200°C (400°F) until rendered, crisp, and tender.

Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet. Cook the onion, tomato, and garlic until softened, then add the ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Cook until browned and it reaches 71°C (160°F).

Cook the chorizo until browned and heated through according to its package directions.

Fry the plantains in the vegetable oil until deeply golden and tender.

Cook the eggs until the whites and yolks reach the desired doneness; use pasteurized eggs when leaving the yolks soft.
