    Water

    Onion (whole)

    Bay Leaf (whole)

    Black Pepper
  • 600g
    Potato (peeled)
  • 300g
    Carrot (peeled)
  • 400g
    Rutabaga (peeled and cut into chunks)

    Green Cabbage (cut into wedges)

    Place the salted beef in a large pot with the water. Add the onion, bay leaves, and black pepper, then bring to a gentle simmer.

    Cook until the meat is becoming tender and the broth is flavorful.

    Add the rutabaga and carrot first because they take longer to soften.

    When those vegetables are nearly tender, add the potato and green cabbage and continue simmering until everything is fully cooked.
