Method

Mix the garlic, soy sauce, oyster sauce, palm sugar, and black pepper until the sugar dissolves.

Coat the sirloin beef steak with the marinade and let it rest while you prepare the plate.

Arrange the romaine lettuce and tomato on a platter. Squeeze the limes into a small bowl and stir in the salt and black pepper to make the dipping sauce.

Heat the vegetable oil in a wok or heavy pan over high heat until very hot, about 200°C (392°F).

Add the beef in a single layer and stir-fry until browned outside and just cooked inside, about 3 to 4 minutes.
