- 4gChili Powder
- 2gBlack Pepper

Method

Pat the tilapia dry and rub it all over, including inside the cuts, with the garlic, chili powder, black pepper, and salt.

Heat the vegetable oil in a wide pan to 180°C (356°F).

Carefully lower in the tilapia and fry until crisp and golden on both sides and the flesh at the thickest part reaches 63°C (145°F) and flakes easily from the bone.

Transfer the fish to drain briefly.

Serve the tilapia hot with the lemon wedges and sliced onion.
