    Combine the all-purpose flour, active dry yeast, water, salt, and vegetable oil and knead until smooth and elastic.

    Cover and let the dough rise in a warm place until doubled in size.

    Divide the dough into equal portions, shape each into an oval, and transfer to a lined baking tray.

    Press a crisscross pattern into the surface with wet fingertips, sprinkle with the nigella seeds, and let the loaves rest until slightly puffed.
