Stew
- 300gBeef Jerky (cut into strips)
- 16gDried Red Chili
- 250gRadish (cut into matchsticks)
- 200gTomato (chopped)
- 800mlWater
- 5gSalt
Base
- 120gOnion (thinly sliced)
- 12gGarlic (sliced)
- 12gFresh Ginger (julienned)
- 15mlVegetable Oil

Method

Heat the vegetable oil in a pot over medium heat. Add the onion and cook until softened.

Add the garlic and fresh ginger, and stir until fragrant.

Add the dried red chili, beef jerky, tomato, water, and salt.

Bring to a gentle simmer at about 95°C (203°F) and cook until the beef jerky begins to soften.

Add the radish and continue simmering until the radish is tender and the broth tastes rich.

Continue cooking until the dried beef has a tender chew rather than a hard texture.
