Dough
- 500gAll-Purpose Flour
- 250mlWhole Milk (warmed)
- 3pcsEgg
- 7gActive Dry Yeast
- 6gSalt
- 250gSalted Butter (softened)
- 5mlVanilla Extract
- 200gPearl Sugar

Method

Warm the whole milk to about 40°C (104°F), stir in the active dry yeast, and let it stand until foamy.

Mix the all-purpose flour with the salt, then add the eggs, vanilla extract, and the yeast mixture.

Knead until the dough begins to smooth out, then gradually work in the salted butter until the dough is soft, glossy, and elastic.

Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place at about 27°C (81°F) until puffed.

Fold the pearl sugar through the risen dough just before cooking.

Heat a waffle iron to about 200°C (400°F).

Cook portions of dough until the waffles are deep golden and the pearl sugar has caramelized on the surface.
