    Combine the warmed whole milk and active dry yeast and let the mixture stand until slightly foamy.

    Mix the all-purpose flour and salt in a bowl, then add the yeast mixture, egg, and melted unsalted butter. Knead until smooth, cover, and let the dough rise until puffy.

    Mix the walnuts, white sugar, cardamom powder, and cinnamon powder.

    Heat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

    Roll the dough into several thin sheets. Layer them in a pan, brushing the sheets with the melted unsalted butter and scattering the walnut filling between the inner layers.
